“Me and my friend had a great time at the Buddy Samui hotel. The staff were lovely and the place was nice and clean. The rooms were great... even better than the pictures on the website. Staff were exceptionally friendly and willing to help out... It is a bit out from the main town area, but this was great for us because that meant it was quite and peaceful and only a short inexpensive cab ride or walk to get into town. The pool was great, didn't eat at the restaurants there cos they seemed a bit expensive, but quite a few really nice little restaurants just down the road or short cab ride into town.”

“I am moved to add a review because of the fantastic time we had staying at the Buddy Samui. Having paid less per night than a Travelodge (UK Budget Hotel a-la Formula1) the service experienced was definitely four star. The hotel is located between Chaweng and Lamai, this immediately gives you two options. A five minute walk to Lamai town or a ten minute taxi ride to the bigger Chaweng (appx 400 Baht). If you are just relaxing the hotel has every facility you need. 2 pools, 2 bars and a nightclub along with a beach bar. You don't really need to go anywhere! The food is fine and you are only ever five minutes from authentic Thai food or The Cliff! Rooms are large enough, clean and have every facility. Nice touches like 2 bottles of water complimentary every day add a finishing touch. Finally the staff are legendary. Along with being generally happy to help Mr Siwa in the main bar/restaurant goes out of his way to make sure you enjoy your stay. He is also a very nice bloke. Him and his team make staying there a bit more fun, nothing is too much trouble. After one night he could remember what drinks each of us had. Can't recommend it enough, I have paid twice as much and not had such good service.”

“When I arrived at the Buddy Boutique Hotel it was a breath of fresh air. (and it was pouring rain) We were welcomed with a cold towel and tropical drink. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated...like stepping into Colonial Caribbean a la Tommy Bahama Style. Immaculately clean and high end Western Bathrooms complete with amenities. The hotel has 2 restaurants, 2 pools, free internet, a fitness center...the works! Breakfast is included and even has an omelette station. The hotel is located in a quaint upscale open air shopping plaza complete with coffee shop, gelateria, gourmet food store, and unbelievable spa. Who could ask for more?.! *the beach is just a few steps directly across the street.”

“I would like to thank Buddy Samui for a great stay. In light of the previous reviews I would say that things have vastly improved and my family had a very enjoyable and peaceful time at this hotel. The location is absolutely fantastic and so close to the beach just a short walk from the better beach in Samui of Lai Mai. The service was fantastic with a very handy supermarket on site. In general all the facilities provided were top quality. The hotel was pristine new and the rooms extremely clean, the added mosquito nets was a saving grace about my worries of the children getting bitten. I will definitely return here as the value for money was fantastic for Samui and I much prefer it's peaceful location over the overcrowded Chaweng Beach. Thanks Buddy boutique, see you soon”
